Thank you so much for such a thorough report. Though we loved much about that house, so many of the things that you pointed out were the very concerns that we had. I'm afraid that since we are a bit advanced in age and on somewhat of a limited income this is more than we can safely allow ourselves to take on at this time. We have made our offer contingent on the outcome of the inspection. We are just so grateful for your thoroughness. When we had the inspection on this home, the inspector must have been in major need of glasses and it has cost us a great deal to turn it into a place that is now a nice home with decent resale value. We cannot do that a second time.
We will put a check in the mail tomorrow and consider it money well spent!
